I love korean food.

Price Hiked again. My Spicy Tuna Cheese Roll went from $6.75 to $8.50. Same quality, same amount of kimbap, only difference is the to-go packaging. Regardless of the price hike, Eating in Kimganae is always a good time with good vibes with great food especially when there isn’t an entire line waiting for a table.

My go-to place when I crave for Korean food. I like it because the food and price are good. The price increased a little bit, but not by much. It's understandable seeing how Flushing rent is so expensive. I usually get the chicken roll, which is freshly made in front of you. It cost less than $7. I also had the tteokbokki ramen with fish cake before. It was okay. I was expecting more flavor. The bibimbap was mediocre; I had it a while ago so maybe it's better now? They have lunch special prices, and you can get some of the food for like $1-$2 less. Service is fine; the person at the register speaks English so you won't have problem ordering.

First time I've had fast food Korean style. Felt like I was in Korea. Nice place, quick eats, cheap price, fast service, what else to say? Recommended during a swift lunch break.

Good food and quick service, really small but packed restaurant. Good for small to medium sized groups.

This is not a good time to go dine in, but to-go is available here. I think it is the toughest time for all small business owners, but they were kind and all my food was packed as expected. The taste was the best too.

I love coming here. This place never disappoints. The staff is always accommodating and super friendly. I have been coming here for over five years. The food is always delicious and I love the complimentary soup. The food is full of flavor and never bland. They also have lunch specials if you go between a certain time during the week. Usually there isn’t a wait, but if there is, it is usually under five minutes.

I love their spicy tuna roll kimbap and the soup they always give, no other soup taste the same. Their customer service is really nice. Kimganae is my favorite.

Food is affordable and generally great but waiters not as attentive as I am used to. Be careful if you come here expecting to fully pay in card because they only accept tip in cash. Also, they refuse to split billls

Awesome street food. They have a fairly large menu but most of it is variations of the main food items you want. My wife and I ordered the spicy tuna kimbap, apparently her favorite so I had to sample this “favorite”. Spoiler...it was pretty damn good.Next she ordered her second favorite the ddukboki, I told her to add some ramen noodles cause I mean noodles, you can’t lose.I ordered the beef kimchi fried rice, winner winner! We thoroughly enjoyed everything and can’t wait to come back. It’s the perfect place for lunch or even just to grab a quick dinner.

Love the food, good prices and excellent service. Is a nice quiet place for lunch.

Server was extremely friendly and welcoming, and I had the 비빔 (Bibim) noodle which was fantastic. There are lots of menu choices and the prices are reasonable, definitely a place to check out!

This is an usual spot for me. I love coming to this place because it's convenient. There's a large parking lot that is very cheap in NYC prices on the other side of the block. Service: The service has been lacking. Sometimes it's fantastic, sometimes it's slow. My last trip to this place, I've gotten horrible service. Once I ordered, they ignored me until I was ready to pay, no refills on water or anything. 3/10 ServiceFood: The food here is fantastic, I love eating kimbap and I return a lot to this place to get it. Some pictures don't match the food order's size, it's a lot smaller when you order it so you should make sure it's filling.8/10 FoodCleanliness: The cleanliness of the place is okay. They rush cleaning the tables by just wiping everything on the floor. It would be better if they cleaned the tables better.3/10

pretty good korean restaurant in NYC. Not only all the side dishes taste good, but they are offered as much as you can. All my friends are really surprised that FREE Kimchi and all that sides. Most of all, price is really affordable and quality of the food is the best.

Great little fast service Korean joint

First time trying Casual Korean food, and the food is pretty tasty and portion sizes are generous. This spot offers wonderful service. I’m happy we eventually decided to eat here.

Been going here since highschool I still like it but I feel like there food isnt satisfying me to 100% anymore. Also when did they start charging for a bowl of rice and the servers are silent and not the best attentive. Still have great soup though

I am not from Korea so not an expert at Korean food, but am very familiar with it. Now that I am done with th disclaimer, this restaurant did not impress me, the food was alright and the service not all of that. Will go back and order some order dishes before I write this one off.

If there's such a thing as a Korean fast-food joint then this is the place with one caveat - the food is actually good! Its not your typical Korean restaurant where you cook your own food (so you don't have to worry about coming our smelling like BBQ and the smell will stick on your skin for a couple of days). They bring out your food in record time! I highly recommend this place!

The free soup. The ramen. The rolls. I need it. I NEED IT.

We like a lot going out. Last night we came to this delicious place which friends told us about. We enjoyed a lovely experience there with delicious meal and a courteous crew and a talented cuisine. We put this fine restaurant in our phone list and we shall surely come back very soon. Highly recommended.

Small Korean restaurant serving Korean staples. The menu has a variety of rice, noodle, rolls, some western etc. Prices are reasonable with cheaper prices during lunch hours if selected foods. Overall the food was alright, except the bibimbab - it wasn’t hot enough. Service was average, seating is terrible as there were too many tables squashed in.

What a place for $10 budget! I love this place because it is such an affordable price but so tasty! strongly recommended!

Had a good time, staff were nice and food was good. The space is a little cramp but overall no complaints. Waiters were nice about the questions I asked and the food didnt take that long to get to us.

I love the food here, and how inexpensive it is. Usually there is a minimal to none wait time for seats. However, this place does get packed. Simple decor, and enough seating but the space itself is not with ample amount of walking room. But I keep going back for the food! They deliver too!

Cheap price with great quality Street foods

The food was decent. The problem is when we asked if they accept credit card they said sure, however tips will have to be paid in cash as they cannot charge it to card. When we received our check, it already included a 20% gratuity charge. Surprise!

This place has been a staple place for me and my friends since we all met in high school. Love their kimbap, katsu and spicy rice cake!

for the price and tip a cramped dining experience. tonkatsu dry and tough-no flavor and cheese rice cakes just spicy with no depth in flavor. it just tastes like they threw in pre-made seasonings from the supermarket.

A server was playing with his friend ( I guess ) so he missed my order and didnt focus on his table. My gf called him like seven times but didnt get any respond. But the other server (i gusee he is a senior) was really nice

I admire this venue very much. there is a romantic feeling. The food is splendid. the service is efficient and the waiters are well trained. The price is reasonable. deeply recommend.

One of the amazing Korean place in NYC. It has a warm and friendly environment. They offered FREE Kimchi, Veggie Anchovy soup, hot tea. The food is so fresh and delicious.

The place is a bit tiny but the value for the meals you're getting is amazing. Come here at lunch during the weekdays for lunch special discounts.

Dukbboki is the one I strongly recommend here!! Just over $10 but it is so addictive and finally you have to end up paying more in the long run! LOL! Other than Dukbboki, Donkatsu is another favorite of mine. Gotta visit here and try! =)

I was satisfied by the food and this is a great place to go with friends and eat but if you would like to reorder for a kimbab, they basically tell you to wait for half an hour. (30 minutes). Food took a bit longer than expected to be served.

We arrived at this spot for dinner. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff members were extremely nice and we had an excellent feeling. The meal was tasty. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. we highly recommend this place.

It was such a good place for an affordable dinner! One of the reason that I like this place is because they taste good but price is reasonable. And the amount of food is additional bonus! =) Strongly recommended!!!

Come for the free soup and leave. Food was bland and had no flavor. Hamburger steak tasted like meatloaf. The fish cutlet tasted like bread crumbs and pork chop had no taste. Wouldn't even recommend the restaurant to my worst enemy.

A small and busy place, this eatery feels a little like a miniature food court but with cafe/restaurant service. The staffs were friendly and fast on their feet so it made the whole experience eating there good.Food was alright by my tastes. I just felt the omelette rice could be better, but the cheese tteokbokki was good.
